How celebs rock little black dress
From time to time I can't help but blog about this fashion basic that Coco Chanel first introduced to the world in 1926. It might not be true to everyone, of course, but a little black dress
is simply classic and by rule, is a must-have. I can't live without having it in my closet. If you're curious, this is how I wear little black dress.
It is much interesting to note how celebrities wear little black dress, how they shine at the red carpets amidst long gowns and how they sparkle in this no-longer-a-mourning-outfit at premieres or other events.
Here are some of my favorite celeb looks:

If asked what little black dresses I have my eyes on right now, these three topped my list:
♥ 1) Taffetta dress ♥ 2) Strapless Drape Dress and ♥ 3)Rippling Motion Dress
They would give me a feel of that celebrity look if and only if they wouldn't hurt my pocket.
So tell me girls, are you a fan of little black dress?

Angelina Jolie in a black mini at the premiere for her new movie 'Salt.'
Heidi Klum attended InStyle's "Best of British Talent" fete in a shiny Marchesa mini that featured trendy feathers on the shoulders and skirt.
Amy Adams was seen at the 22nd Annual Producers Guild Awards in a sexy Andrew Gn dress.
Kristen Stewart looked like a princess in this Marchesa little black dress she wore at the premiere of the movie "Eclipse".

How to wear a little black dress
"When a little black dress is right, there is nothing else to wear in its place."

~ Wallis Warfield Simpson
One rule of fashion: Every woman should own a simple, elegant black dress.
Even before most of us were born, the necessity of having a little black dress was already widely observed by women and fashion observers. Simple and elegant looking little black dresses are the ones that classify as little black. Something trendy that can anytime go outdated may not qualify.
What makes a little black dress timeless is its ability to be worn all year round. You can dress it up and down depending on the occasion or weather. The following are ways to wear it:

♥ Wear your little black dress with knee high boots.
♥ Layer your little black dress over black tights. If the weather is cold, you can complete your look with a black leather jacket or a coat.
♥ Layer your little black dress with colored tights if the style and cut suits.

Sale, how I love Thee: shoes, dresses, denim, tops and jackets from shopbop
I used to religiously scout for fashions on sale and blog about them every weekend. But then, my day job has taken over and getting too worn out all the time unconciously made me leave this passion - Sale, how I love Thee! - at the back burner.
But hey, despite my tiredness, I'm sure I couldn't let this good news fly off my window. I did for a lot of them. Shhhh! That was because I did not really want you girls to spend more of your money. Yet here I am, excited to tell you that Shopbop is having some really crazy sale.
♥I'm loving my Imelda
The first thing I scanned page by page was for the shoes. There are tons of them on sale and mostly are at 70%. Honestly though, a lot of them have not struck the core of my fashion sense. I didn't feel that restless feeling, with hands and feet sweating and mind swirling. Nah, not really. But since there are too many shoes on sale, that just meant I could search through all of them to finally find something to fall in love with.
Then I did find them, a pair that I would so love to embrace.

$650.00 $455.00 (30% off)
Loeffler Randall Lula Platform Booties.
I'm sure you girls understand why I fell in love with these shoes. Snake-embossed leather booties is something that would make you look fierce but effortless. Pardon me environmentalists; I don't really mind killing snakes and wearing their skin. But I mind the price. After 30% off, I still don't think I'd be willing to pay that much. Sigh!
And more shoes. I had a hard time deciding which color is best between the two booties.

Pollini Studio Pollini Cuff Suede Booties in Dark Green/Grey or Berry/Brown? Please help me decide girls. Their price is actually reasonable - $765.00 FINAL SALE* $229.50 (70% off)
Elizabeth and James Greta Woven Pumps. I was planning to look for a more daring bright colors. But I don't know why I ended up choosing for these. If not grey, maron or rust. Sigh! again. $425.00 $297.50 (30% off).
♥Little black dress Vs. Little white dress

Torn by Ronny Kobo Caroline Dress $231.00 $161.70 (30% off) or Alice + Olivia Wrapped Goddess Dress $264.00: $184.80 (30% off)
♥Lovely basic and bright

Tons of them are so loving and divine for summer outfit.
You can also check for denim, tops and jackets. They too are on sale. I'm just not certain if their prices are crazy too. ;)

Summer Outfits, Aiko takes on sweatshirts

We all know about the good old proverb "This too shall pass.", right? We really can use it to drive us optimistic about the weather when we feel we had enough of layering. Winter will too pass and we can embrace spring and summer.

To help us girls become optimistic, let us have a look at what's new for summer outfits.
♥This exene sweatshirt is one of the most fun new look that I saw lately. A combination of vintage hanging blouse, three-fourths sweater and backless concept, this new design is nothing but fresh. The holes details on the sides are very refreshing to the eyes while the space that it gives allows you to move freely.
You can wear it as is and pair it with fitting short shorts, cycling, tights, denim jeans or pencil skirt. Or, if you don't wish to bare your back, you can ware a midriff fitting tube top underneath to cover your back area.

Dress shabbily and they remember the dress; dress impeccably and they remember the woman. ~ Coco Channel
♥What is more perfect and flawless than this little black Edo tunic dress? A combination of comfort and cleverness makes for this lovely palette.
Accessorizing this darling with flat boots or strappy sandals would give you a ready-to-go look while if you choose to wear it with stilletos, you are off for a dinner party.
Is this another must-have little black dress?

“I think vests are all about protection. You know what I mean? Like a lifevest protects you from drowning and bulletproof vests protect you from getting shot and the sweatervest protects you from pretty girls. ‘Leave me alone. Can’t you see I’m cold just right here?’' ~ Demetri Martin
Demetri was right. Vests used to be only for protection. But how clever and creative designers are, they turned it into something that gives two things: protection and fashion.
♥You wear thisKlaus vest with anything and you would never go wrong. But I think that wearing it with something bright or light color would make the vest as the center of attention. I usually pair black with white. I always love the effects black and white create. Although wearing it in this country connotes mourning, I don't really pay attention. All I care about is fashion. An ensemble such as this little white dress paired with Klaus? It's perfect.
So what about you girls? What are the new summer outfits that you're excited to sport on?

Little black dress from haas
"When a little black dress is right, there is nothing else to wear in its place ..." Famous quote by a duchess.
We all girls of fashion know that the must of having an LBD [little black dress] is attributed to Coco Chanel. Her designs of little black dresses were so versatile, elegant and timeless that were worn by so many great and famous women; Princess Diana as my favourite.
The little black dress is essential. Every woman is ought to have it in her wardrobe. They don't have to be numerous, they only have to be few, at least one, simple but elegant black dress that can be worn up or down depending on the occasion.
I was really lucky during the tremendous "end of the season" sales of most high end products on Christmas, I was able to grab myself another LBD.
This little black dress is from haas. My pocket was hurt just a bit when I got it because it was at 50% off.

I observed that haas is actually becoming my favorite brand. I was not concious for a while. I am loving it.

If you noticed girls, I don't wear jewelries. My fave accesories are only scarves, shoes and bags. But now, if you could see clearly that one finger of the left hand, there's a ring on it. ;)
