stand high with high boots

I really love boots and i can't imagine my life not owning several types of boots. But because I live in Asia and we don't have winter snow, I am limited to low or mid shin boots. Howevever, I also love the idea of wearing high boots. They are just simply glamorous. Since I am visiting my boyfriend in Europe this december, I would have reason to wear them. I am eyeing to have at least one of these fabulous high boots.
