Easy Fashion in Japan

Japanese people are amazing in many ways.
Their outfits are very codified.
Some of them are dressed different, trying to escape from traditional behaviour.
Like these young YOYOGI girls of Harajuku (Tokyo).

Geisha ! .... A fantasmatic image of Japan. Most of the time totally misunderstood (Kyoto).
Geisha ! .... Une image tellement phantasmée du Japon et totalement incomprise (Kyoto).

Graphism of kimonos & belts is really amazing.
But don't forget the LV bag !
Le graphisme des kimonos et des ceintures est incroyable. Mais il ne faut pas oublier le sac VUITTON !

shilpa walks the ramp
Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty walked the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week ramp at Pragati Maidan for Tarun Tahiliani’s collection “From Kutch to Kenya“.
She mesmerized the audience in a flowing golden drape dress with a gold headband and waistband.
“People say that by bringing a celebrity on the ramp, a designer can get away with any kind of collection but that is not true. The drape evening dress was designed only keeping her in mind,” Tahiliani said after the show Thursday evening.
For the male counterpart, the collection was inspired by Kathiawari men in Kutch with models in dhotis and wrapped skirts and glorious safas to protect them from the summer sun. The colors ranged from creamy latte, pale pistachio to hot pink.

OM SHANTI OM :- THE BLEND OF ALL OLD AND THE NEW
The SFX technology does it all. Shirish Kunder (Farah Khan’s husband) did it in ‘Jaaneman’ to transpose Salman Khan with the stars of 60s and 70s. Now, Farah Khan does in ‘Om Shanti Om’ to show gorgeous Deepika Padukone dance with the movie stars of the 70s- Rajesh Khanna, Jitandra and late Sunil Dutt, and that too in a young avatar of these stars. We know by now that Shah Rukh Khan’s production company Red Chillies Entertainment has topnotch technology and equipment available for SFX.
The film, an unusual love story, spans over thirty years. The film has Shah Rukh Khan playing a junior artist and Deepika Padukone playing a big filmstar in 1970s.

DHOL- SPEED DEMOS WITHOUT HELMET
Throughout Priyadarshan’s ‘Dhol’, the gang of four- Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Khemu, Sharman Joshi and Rajpal Yadav- is shown zooming around on bikes on the roads of Pune.
On one such occasion they were shooting on Ferguson Road where most college campuses are situated. Even after the shot was canned the boys continued riding the bikes and got caught by a policeman at the signal. Without helmets, without licences and at full speed, the traffic policeman took them to be college rowdies. Luckily for them, some production unit hands rushed to the spot and saved the heroes from further embarrassment.

VIKRAM PADHNIS WITH SALLU FAMILY
When Malaika Arora Khan and Katrina Kaif walked the ramp with other models at JW Mariott hotel in Mumbai sporting Vikram Pahdnis’ designs at the event organized by Zapak.com to unveil the games and Vikram’s look, the crowds were left google-eyed with the funky creations created by Phadnis for Zapak.com.
The two girls were all praise for Vikram, who incidentally is Salman’s regular designer. Katrina said, “Among Indian designers, I love to wear Vikram’s clothes.” Malaika added, “I love wearing his designs.”
However, when Vikram was put under the spot and asked to choose between Salman’s sis-in-law and lady love, the designer was anything but funky or impractical as his designs.” They both are family, so how can I choose?” he laughed.
